I am a 27 Year Old computer technician in Quesnel, British Columbia. After a gaining 120 lbs over about 6 years out of highschool (from 100 @ grad to 220 before divorce) I hit the gym to lose some weight. With the help of some depression from divorce I lost 40 lbs, dropping to a decent 180.

I injured my shoulders skiing, then had my gall bladder removed. The resultant time away from the gym added 10 lbs and made me look lots fatter, as I lost what muscle tone I’d managed to acquire. So, I’m back at the gym, and this is my routine. See the FAQ page or my blog posts for more info.

Update Jan 08:  Holidays saw me gaining 12 lbs, as the gym was closed and I was eating like a pig.  Time to get back on track.  That totals me at 196 last weigh in.


Circuit Routine. Do 12 reps for each exercise at the highest weight that you can complete the reps. Do the circuit 3 times. (Currently I’m going through the circuit once, next week it ups to twice, then two weeks later goes up to 3 times.)Dumbell Shoulder Press
