This blog is a diary of sorts.  It is part motivation, and part record keeping.  Add a dash of inspiration and a pinch of contemplation and it is becoming a recipe for success.

It is a place to be totally honest, in a public way.  Saying 183 lbs to myself is just that – but having a public record of my weight, my size, my food, my exercise programs etc, is a way to keep me going, and help to steer my course.

Some of my friends have started to get onboard, see the name tabs at the top of the page to see who we are, and what we’re doing.

I used the word “my”.  That isn’t entirely accurate.  As I’ve become motivated (partly self, partly from the MD) I have found others who are interested in following the same plan.  Scott, Chris and Ken for sure.  This is partly their story as well.

Click on to see what’s happening.  Static pages like this one, and the ones named for the people have stuff that doesn’t change much and record keeping – the main page has posts and stories about how things are going, much like a normal blog.
